RentalX Platform Last updated: February 22, 2026 1. Overview RentalX (“RentalX”, “we”, “our”, “us”) operates a SaaS marketplace platform that allows vehicle owners (“Hosts”) to list vehicles and customers (“Renters”) to book them. RentalX acts only as a technology platform and is not the owner of the vehicles unless explicitly stated. By using RentalX, you agree to these Terms. 2. Eligibility You must: Be at least 18 years old Provide accurate information Have legal authority to enter contracts Hold a valid driver’s license (for renters) We may suspend accounts that violate these requirements. 3. Platform Role (IMPORTANT) RentalX: ✅ Provides the booking platform ✅ Processes service fees ❌ Does NOT own most vehicles ❌ Is NOT responsible for vehicle condition ❌ Is NOT a party to rental agreements between users The rental contract is between Host and Renter. 4. User Accounts Users agree to: Keep login credentials secure Provide truthful information Not misuse the platform Not attempt to hack, scrape, or reverse engineer the system We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion. 5. Listings by Vehicle Owners (Hosts) Hosts are fully responsible for: Vehicle legality and registration Insurance coverage Accurate listing details Vehicle safety and maintenance Compliance with local laws RentalX may remove listings that violate policies. 6. Bookings and Payments 6.1 Service Fee RentalX charges a small platform fee per booking. 6.2 Payment Processing Payments may be processed via third-party providers (such as Stripe). Users agree to the provider’s terms. 6.3 Booking Confirmation A booking is confirmed only when: Payment is successful Host accepts the booking (if manual approval is enabled) 7. 🚫 No Refund Policy All platform service fees paid to RentalX are strictly NON-REFUNDABLE. RentalX does not provide refunds for: User cancellations Host cancellations No-shows Booking mistakes Dissatisfaction with vehicle Any rental refund (if offered) is strictly between Host and Renter according to the Host’s own policy. 8. Cancellations & Disputes RentalX is not responsible for disputes between users Users agree to resolve issues directly RentalX may assist but is not obligated to mediate We reserve the right to take platform action in cases of abuse or fraud. 9. User-Created Platforms (SaaS Feature) RentalX may allow users to create their own branded rental platforms. Users of this feature agree that: They are fully responsible for their customers They must comply with all laws RentalX only provides the software infrastructure Subscription or usage fees are non-refundable 10. Prohibited Activities Users may not: Upload false vehicle information Use the platform for illegal activities Attempt to bypass platform fees Interfere with platform security Use automated scraping or bots Violations may result in permanent suspension. 11. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentalX shall not be liable for: Vehicle accidents Vehicle damage Personal injury Lost profits Disputes between users Host misconduct Use of the platform is at your own risk. 12. Termination We may suspend or terminate accounts at any time for: Terms violations Fraudulent activity Legal compliance requirements Platform abuse 13.
